This fantastic airplane is a “new” Air Repair L-19 Super Bird Dog built in 2004 with new, old surplus parts (I.E: real surplus Bird Dog parts manufactured in the 1950s but never used). This craft was originally built as a standard Bird Dog but was nosed over on a landing. It was rebuilt by Steve Noyes in 2011 using the same manufacturing jigs used to build it originally but this time a new Lycoming O540, 250 hp engine was installed along with a Hartzell 3-bladed prop. With this engine, along with the addition of leading edge cuffs and drooped wing tips, this plane will leap into the air in about 300 feet and cruise at 130 mph (113 knots). A perfect bush plane or a great plane for a warbird enthusiast.

Export and Global Delivery is available.

All trades considered.
