This is a nice looking little airplane, with low airframe and engine time, and very capable instrumentation. The glass and plastic are in generally good condition. Seat upholstery is in excellent condition except for a tear in the pilot side seatback. The aft baggage area is bare and ready for carpet installation. The airplane had excellent care until the owner stopped flying it in 2008, and it has sat idle ever since. The plane sat outside at KJOT, Joliet Regional Airport, Joliet, Illinois (Just southwest of Chicago). The Airport Authority has taken control of the plane, and it is currently hangared at KJOT. There are light hail pecks on most upper surfaces, and there is no evidence or knowledge of any structural damage. The plane has been cleaned up and given a fresh battery, and engine runs are being accomplished. The airplane is, however, out of annual and is in need of some TLC. The plane will need an annual or a ferry permit to fly.
